I read a lot about Predator bows in the mags but i havent read of anyone on the forums having one or even talking about one. I just got back from the Kentucky Klassic where i traded in my Bear Grizzly for a Predator. Its my first take down and so far I really like the bow and it shoots better than my grizzly by far. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on them. Thanks

Thanks for the reply howler. I was wondering if you have a lot of hand shock or limb vibration when you shoot. I thought about putting stick on limb savers on it but would rather not. It might just be how predators shoot but I don’t know enough about them.

I think I met you at the ky classic. I had my predator hunter with me and if you are the guy I met in big jim’s tent, I love my predator! and I have 0 hand shock. This is by far my favorite bow and it is the only one that I am currently hunting with!:D

Yeah mongoose you did met me. I got the bow from big Jim. Its pretty cool that your on here. did you go to the Tn Klassic. I met some other predator owners there and they gave me a little info on how to calm the hand shock on mine but haven’t had the time to try them out.

I’ve set my brace height at 8 1/4″ I have no string slap, no noise, and no hand shock. I just have cat whiskers on the d97 string that came with the bow. Ive had it almost 4 years now, and it’s the best bow I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned many. Good luck, and good choice.
