In this latest update, Ed continues his explorations and interpretations of various factors affecting arrow penetration and lethality, including minimum weight, FoC and more, with graphics, examples and analogies to make it all clear for those of us who suffer math and physics learning disabilities, like me! 🙄
I find this update particularly interesting and useful because it so clearly summarizes and recaps a far-ranging number of ingredients of penetration and lethality. If you’re still struggling, for instance, with why and how EFoC arrows can provide the same or even greater penetration with a 40# bow as standard FoC arrows provide with an 83# bow, this summary should clear things up … and provide fresh meat for conversation here on the Ashby forum.
