Years ago ( maybe late 80’s / early 90’s) I had a copy of Dr. Ashby’s Natal study. I’ve looked here and on the Tuffhead sight, but could not find a similar copy. The one I’m speaking of didn’t have a whole lot of charts and graphs. It read mostly like : “Zebra- shot from front quarter, broadhead penetrated through left lung , reaching live, did not exit, x number of inches of penetration, Lethal shot” .

I remember a part where a Grizzly was shot into a warthog skull and penetrated through the brain cavity. Anybody know where I can find this? If it’s already posted and I missed it… sorry. Just thought I’d ask. Thanks.

Hello Munsterman, and welcome to the forum. Dr. Ashby pops in from time to time so maybe he can help you find exactly what you are looking for.

At the top of this forum is a thread called Links to Ashby Reports. There you will find links to all of the studies and related material. One link, TBM Articles gives a listing of those that were published in Traditional Bowhunter. These articles are available to all members to be read on the site, but not downloaded.

I thought there was a summary but when I peeked briefly I couldn’t find it. Perhaps as you browse through them it will pop up. Let me know if you have any questions or problems with the files.

thank you. I’ve been a lurker here for a while… I’ve read through all the Ashby Studies and most of the TBM articles. This was actually a hard copy I had given to me many years ago. It was maybe 12 pgs long. I’m guessing it it was more of the raw data rather than a full summary like most of the Study parts. It just bugs me that I can no longer find it in my stockpile of stuff and I’d like to see it again.
