What kind of pricing are they offering on the new Woodsman? If it’s close to the old price, I very well may consider them. Also, is the screw-in part machined into the head, or is it glued on like the original woodsman head?? Thanks.

The price is $34.99 for a 3-pack
Screw-in:
http://www.3riversarchery.com/Woodsman+ELITE+Broadheads++Screw-In+3-pk_c0_s0_p0_i4225-3X_product.htmlThe new pyramid tip increases the strength by changing the angle at the tip to be able to withstand harder hits than a skinnier needle tip could take.

Hi Jonathan
Like your company and your products but can’t help thinking that this should be an advertisement, not a post, suggest you contact Robin for clarification.
Best regards, Mark.

Thanks, Mark. I appreciate you watching out for the forum.
Effective today we are allowing paid online advertisers to make occasional posts about their new products. This should be for informational purposes only and you shouldn’t see too many. It’s my fault that I didn’t change “The Rules” earlier.

None at all Mark. I am glad you did mention something as the rules of a forum are very important. Hope all of you get a chance to try the Woodsman ELITE broadheads, and I hope we get a product review in an upcoming issue.

I’ve always been pretty much a 2 Blade fan. I tried the woodsman years back and I was not thrilled over the idea of filing the tip of broadhead because if it’s design. This new design I believe is superior to the former, and I am looking forward to giving them a try. ,

i am not in need of new heads as i still have 6 rasor sharp wensels left, but when i need more they will be the ones.also would like to give a field report on the older ones they are exactly what 3rivers advertised,on louisiana hogs i managed one pass through and after a 30 yard blood trail i came upon a 150 pound female,i would say that your head does just as mutch damage to a hog as many small caliber rifles,i have thus far killed 7 louisiana hogs all with woodsman heads, the head performed perfectly on every one,the heads were attached to cedars made by susan st charles and grissly stick tapered arrows.
