I have been working as an intern for 3 years for the local big company, and now I have been offered a full time salary position as a quote analyst for them. I looked at my wife, and I now get a new bow, so I have chosen to get a custom version of the “Helms Deep” from the Javaman himself Gregg. I can’t wait. I am so excited for both the job and to be able to hold this wonderful bow!!

Can’t wait to see the pictures. As the song goes, “waiting is the hardest part”. Be well.

Good going Andrew! I just got on the list for a Falcon from Gregg and now the wait.

Good luck with the new job. Look forward to seeing pic’s of the new Helms Deep!

I will post them when it comes around. I am sure it will be a little bit. I am pretty far back on the list I am sure, but I will definitely post pics. This will be my first custom bow so I am really excited. That being said, you should post some of yours as well when you get it in.

I’ll be happy to post some pic’s of my new “Falcon” when it gets here. Gregg said it’d be 4-6 Months. In the mean time I plan to wear out a few strings on this old Bear “Cub” I’ve been murdering arrows with. This will be my first custom bow as well.

                Cheers,

                Gary

Congratulations on both, especially the new job! This is a great time in archery. I think good jobs are harder to come by than good bows these days. Happy Holidays! dwcphoto

I think the Helms Deep is an excellent choice given our previous conversations about your preference in bows. I predict it will open whole new worlds of accuracy for you. Happily for me, my new Elkheart, first of its species off the one-man production line, is in the mail now. I just hope it arrives before the world ends. 😀

Congrats on a good choice in bows, and on your promotion.

You are right. I love my Hill bow, but I want something I can work with and I will over time get to shooting it again, but right now I need a viable bow that looks great, and I found that Gregg can knock that out of the park.
