Maddog Prairie Predator. 60″, 55lb@28″. Black Glass, AppleJack Dymondwood Riser. Smooth as silk at my 28″ draw. Not to shabby in the speed department either. (190fps for the speed freaks out there, 480 grain total arrow weight). Great workmanship. Nice Curves (lines). Support you local Bowyer! All for the price of $275 shipped!!!!

Sorry for the poor pic quality…..from my cell phone.

              Very very nice bow

Fast as can be hope, but for hunting speed is not first thing, pleasure and facility to shoot with such a weapon is essential

Hope you keep enjoying your new toy !

Congrats on a new bow, Steve! It’s funny, but Maddog bows seem to be popping up everywhere lately. Mike is just a few hours from where I live, and a friend of mine is thinking about ordering one from him.

Nice looking bow for sure! How many laminations make up the bow. It looks like two plus the glass is there a third wood lam but I just can’t see it in the pic?

The lams are exactly as you said 2+ the glass.

My opinion is it is “best in class” in the compact/lightweight bow category. It points really well. I’m sure the added mass of the bow quiver helps alot with that. Will gonna try to get out to broadhead tune today.

                        So far I am :D:P:lol:8)

Broadhead tuning today at 25 yards. 1st pic coming to full draw.

2nd pic broadhead arrow lowest of group. After many iterations with nockset height, left it here. Brace height ~6 3/4″, Nockset 1/2″ high

                            Steve

Beautiful bow. Nice shooting. Now all you have to try is those A&A fletching. But I have to ask why a back quiver and a bow quiver:shock:?

Forgot to ask is your daughter ready for the late season elk?

                            Enjoy:D

                            Mike

Very nice. Those Maddog bows are nice.

                              He from WV?

Mike, the bow quiver holds my broadhead arrows, I always practice with it on. The back quiver holds field tips and flu flus for practice.

My daughters elk hunt came during the polar vortex last month. Temps were -20 with high winds. She chose not to go, but now has some good cold weather gear.

Wojo, the bowyer…. Maddog bows, is from Idaho. They have a website. Google them.
