Had to share guys. I’m really proud of these. Stalker stain, polyurethane, and I used my little manual hand spinner and paint pens for the cresting.

Nice work, Nick! I like how you faded (or is it feathered?) the different colors. That’s the problem with woodies — a guy just wants to keep making more of them, there are so many creative possibilities. Carbon is utility. Wood is art. 😀

              Limblover,
I love the color fade too. Good work there.

Thanks guys! I actually just wiped on the stalker stain with a cotton sock. I started with the green and red and then blended in purple heart and blue for the second coat.

He finally did the fades, I pulled him to the dark side of arrow building! Stalker is great stain to use for creating differant types of fades! Makes me want to get more shafts! Like I needmore arrows! LOL

Great work! Just so you know, you and ripforce are the reason I ordered a bama! So far, dealing with Nate has been awesome! So pumped to get it! Back on topic though, where do you order your shafts?

I actually bought these from Black Dog Outfitter in Rockford, MI. Best traditional archery store in the state and I am blessed to have it within 5 miles of my front door…or cursed.

I think BDO gets them from Kustom King. They are honestly the best POC shafts I’ve had in a long time.

What bow MODEL did you order Nate?

Ripforce, I ordered a hunter model. Nate thought it would be a good idea for me to start off with the longer “D” shape for the more forgiving nature of it. I gave Nate complete creative control on this! Can’t wait to see what he comes up with:)

You will love that Hunter, very lite in the hand, very smooth! Nate will not disapoint, I did that on my Expi Royal only thing I ask for was that the bow was mainly Osage on the riser and the veneers, he created a work of art!

I don’t know what I enjoy more, building arrows or shooting them. 😛
