My First Trad Hunt.

I took my family hunting this weekend to an Archery only Ranch and I decided to go Traditional only. No Blind and well we dont have trees worthy of placing a tree stand in. I Waited and waited and blew my shot at about 20 or so yards away. My arrow flew right over her back and it was over. I cant remember much after that only that I dont think I’ll be hunting any other way. I love my longbow and the Challenge. It isn’t easy hunting this way but its the only way.

First hunt and first miss all in one! To bad about the miss but good on yah for getting a shot opportunity on your first trip out. So what was it you were shooting at?

I was out looking for Does or Spikes. Missed on a Doe, a nice chunky one. This sport is not for the impatient..

I’ll bet you are still thinking about that day remembering the fun you had. That’s what its all about. Missing is OK. You want a clean miss or a clean kill. Can’t wait to go again I bet! 😀
