Dave asked me to pass this link on. I have included his note to me for clarity and explanation.
This links to an hour-long video, just posted to YouTube yesterday, that was filmed back when we were making the documentary “On the Wild Edge.” It’s an hour-long conversation between three lifelong hunters about hunting, ethics, conservation, wildlife management and even a bit of “nature spirituality.” If you have no interest in any of these topics, you’ll be bored. For those with interest in these topics, it’s a stimulating and thought-provoking conversation. I saw my role primarily as facilitator.
The only glitch I’m aware of in the film—which is a rough-cut and nothing fancy—is that it starts immediately when you enter the site. You may want to hit pause right away so you can read the intro text below the screen. We hope to get that fixed asap.
Aside from being worthwhile in its own right, we are posting this conversation free on YouTube as a form of promoting the “Edge” film/DVD for the Christmas season. So please pass this link along to anyone you know who may find it interesting.

Or you can simply google “Three Gray Mules.”
Enjoy. I particularly liked the sound of the old lab snoring at their feet.

Thoroughly enjoyed the conversations on the video. I felt like I was acquainted with these guys from reading Dave’s books. Nice to put faces to names.

Great conversation in the video. Being very close to their age I can relate to much of what they said and agree with and share their viewpoints. I’m so glad this is on Youtube just hope some are patient enough to hear it all the way through.
