A while back I inquired if anyone had used or had any experience with one of the mirrored hunting blinds (ie ghost blind). I was a little anxious about shelling out the cash for one of these, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to try it. I got it during the hunting season and played around with it some in the yard to try and figure out the best way to set it up and shoot form behind it. First time in the woods I hunted a clear cut on the edge of some thick cover. Had deer come in that evening close and was sure they would pick up on this thing since they were so close, however they just fed on by without a second glance. The third deer that passed I shot with my longbow at 16 yards. It was nice to have such a good shot angle, both lungs, and went to ground at 40 yards. Looking forward to turkey season with this thing.

Good deal, man. Congrats on a ground kill!

Do you have any photos you could post? I’ve been interested in those types of blinds and would like to see them in action.

            Thanks – MH
