        I know there’s quite a few Michiganders here…
The Michigan Wildlife Conservancy is taking a very proactive stance against the invasion of hogs and is looking for volunteers to assist with its Michigan Wild Hog Removal Program. They are looking for those who have a strong hunting and/or trapping background (That would be US!). Visit the link for more information including contact info. There will be a training session Wednesday, May 12th from 6pm – 9:30pm at the Bengal Wildlife Center near Bath.

I’ve heard that trapping is more effective than hunting them. Good luck with that. I’ve also read that hogs will respond to pressure by mating more often and at younger ages. Explains why they are so tough to get rid of.
