        Hey guys,

I got my hands on some digital topo maps of various parts of Australia. None of the Northern Territory I’m afraid. They are all 1:250,000 with 50m contour intervals, so not exactly intimate but you can zoom in on the digital map and print out a blown up section. Doesn’t increase contours obviously but they’re pretty detailed so you can have a better look.

Each map pdf file is an area of approximately 150x100km and about 4mb in size. So if you’re planning a trip down here don’t be afraid to pm me with your email and where you are going, if I’ve got the area you’re going to it’s no skin off my nose to flick you an email.

        Jim

Thanks for the offer. The thought of the desert outback kind of blows my mind in general!

Thought deserts were well flat. Why would you need more than a compass? Why go there?
