I just picked up a used bow off ebay, got a 45# right hand bow to play with. I am a lefty, but have always been right eye dominant, and finally decided to see if I could get used to RH. I didn’t want to invest much so about $26 later I have one with (advertised) twisted limbs and a slight crack near one tip. No biggie on the tip, I will glue on some lams to strengthen it.
I have fixed twisted limbs before too, so I think that is doable also.
What I was wondering though, is where I could get about a 6″ piece of about .040 or .050″ glass. All the web sites like Bingham, Three Rivers, etc, only sell 72″ pieces at about $16 plus shipping. More than I want to invest in this bow. Any sources for shorter pieces?
I have built laminated recurves before so am fairly well familiar with the process.

I’ve got acouple .040 1-3/4″ black drops from the bow I’m building. If I remember right they are about 8″ long.
If these will do drop me a PM with your name and address.

They arrived yesterday. Thanks much, this will help get the old “$26 throwaway” bow back to being a shooter.
