        :?hello trad bowhunters, i recently switch from using a martin x-200 recurve to using a OMP 68″ 60# Adrondack Hunter longbow my brace height is 7 1/4 . i like the way it shoots, but im getting different brace heights, from different sights,so would someone please tell me the correct brace height

          Indigo, every bow has a sweet spot, and every bow is different, recommended brace height is a guide to get you into the ball park, final determination is up to you based on your arrows and how you shoot your bow….. don’t be afraid to experiment a little with your Brace height to find your sweet spot…. it will be time well spent….Steve

            Shoot the lowest brace hieght you can while keeping good arrow flight and no noise. It takes some playing around but it’s worth it.
