I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot this little 52″ flat bow for the last month and its amazing how it shoots. Bert Frelink of Quartermoon Longbows in Alberta took the time to show it to me while I was attending the Alberta Traditional Archery Jamboree and I simply liked its simplicity. At 60# @ 28″, this little bow sure flings an arrow.
Why is it that we don’t hear about these little bows. We see lots of recurve and longbow stories but I for one am so glad I got to try a short flatbow. They are really fun to shoot. Hopefully, I’ll be able to connect on either a moose or deer this fall, we will be out and about starting September 25 to October 13th.
Just thought I would share my opinion of these flatbows.
