The Kenosha Bowmen’s forth annual Heide’s Rendezvous Benefit for Bill Jecevicus and Family will be held from 2 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, at the club’s location, 15211 75th St. (Highway 50), approximately two miles west of I-94 on the south side of the road.

Bill was diagnosed with Stage IV appendix cancer in late February. He is being treated at St. Catherine’s Hospital to help slow the progress of this rare form of cancer. Bill’s wife Debbie and their daughters Ashley and Alyssa would be honored if you could join us in helping them in their time of need.

The event will feature live music, picnic/pig roast, kids games, live and silent auctions, raffle and 50/50. Live music will be provided by Trip and Acoustic Soul. A $10 raffle ticket includes a free meal between 4 and 7 p.m.

The Kenosha Bowmen will host an archery shoot between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Aug. 18 and between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 19. There will be sprayed ranges, door prizes and novelties, plus 28 life-sized 3-D targets, with animal targets including deer, bears, elk, turkeys, moose and many other animal species.

Shooting fees are $12 for non-members and $10 for members. Breakfast and lunch will be served both days.

Contacts are Marty Haas for the Rendezvous Benefit (262-770-1784) and Duane Wright for donations (760-429-5732). Monetary donations can be made at any Johnson Bank under the “Jecevicus Family Benefit Fund” or at First Midwest Bank, 1011 14th St., North Chicago, IL 60064
