Well it’s almost that time again. Who here plans to hit Kzoo … next week it is! I hear the weather will be tropical, “guaranteed.” 😛 I’ll be there in any event, only my second time. Not selling anything; just going for the good fun of it and because I have extra money burning a hole in my pocket. 🙄 Right …

I will be making the long drive south to Kalamazoo. Hope to meet some of the forum members at that time. You have any trouble spotting me because I’ll probably be the oldest guy there.

Robin,
I’m missing a good time, I know it!
But I have a gig in St.thomas USVI
Next weekend.

I will be there for sure, working in the Asbell booth. Dave….email me you flight info, I will see you at the airport!
-
I can’t make it either but I wish my reason was as good as Alex’s! Hopefully next year.

Yes, I’m feeling sorry for Alex, too. It’s supposed to be in the single digits next week here in the Poconos and I know you’re going to miss that.

Ha ha! I (we) would much rather see you in concert in St. Thomas my friend. One of these days…

I can’t wait to get there. Leaving tomorrow to drive up all the way from Arkansas. I will be hanging out at the Java Man Archery booth with Gregg (Java Man) and Dave Petersen. It would be great to meet you all.
There is some money burning a hole in my pocket too…

Looks like there actually might be a “warm up” up there next week. I’d like to go to that someday. I’d be easy to spot, the coldest looking frostbit guy from NC. 😀

Went there on Saturday w LimbLover drive from Grand Rapids was good, lots of real nice bows as usual, Asbells got most of my money I picked up a zip “Cedar Swamp” plaid jacket been wanting that pattern for a long time to go w my Evening Stand Brown vest! Also couldn’t pass on a Dark Brown/Black plaid pullover from the closeout rack either! Teresa was one busy vendor there at the show! Met a lot of great people, talked to Robin overall I think the vendors may have been down a little but I heard the weather had played havoc w some of them getting there!

Was a good show, and just barely escaped the clutches of another longbow. Whew, it was a close one! I did buy an arm guard, and almost immediately got a call from my wife. I told her I was JUST STANDING next to the Dwyer bow rack, I didn’t even pick one up, much less buy one. But she could tell that I opened my wallet. Now that’s womans intuition! 😯 The Dwyers thought it was pretty funny.
I did get to talk wool with Mr. Norris, and about groundhog thread in the past on here with Mr. Peterson. Nice to converse with you both!
Escaped the freezing rain threat by leaving early on Sunday, got home just in time before it hit WI. Looking forward to going again next year.
