…I’m back again! I’m sure you were all missing my sarcasm (which, ironically, is sarcasm 😆 ).
Life has a way of getting in the way some times. Hence, the brief departure. I’m looking forward to getting out and shooting again. Especially if it ever warms up!! This weather sucks here in Michigan right now! I’ve taken a bit of a respite from shooting as well, so I’m gonna be rusty. And hopefully THAT has helped with the dreaded target panic that seems to rear its ugly head. Anyway…just saying hi again. I’ve got some catching up to do. 😀

Patrick — No jokes from me (this time). Just real good to have you back and hope your days are all bright ahead. dave

Hey Patrick good to have you back and yes I did miss that little bit of sarcasm that you became famous for ! People wanting autographs etc.
I too am afflicted by the “Demon” but I think maybe I have found the cure via a “clicker”. I have one now on both of my bows and without getting to cocky I think there may be some hope! I am very optomistic anyway.
Downside of the clicker is that it is a gadget for sure, and the string form the clicker tends to wrap around the bowstring sometimes.
The book you suggested by Jay Kidwell was excellent !

Glad to have you back in the action,Patrick. It was getting alittle boring at times not having cut in with your wry remarks. Had alittle bit of a layoff from shooting myself and I’m rusty. The weather will be breaking soon and 3-D shoots will have us all back at it. 8)

Hi, Patrick. Glad to hear from you. You always come up with some great new ideas on things to talk about. It’s funny how life sometimes gets in the way of our passions. (Or is it the other way around?) Anyhow glad you are back.

Which leaves me to wonder just how the term “bad penny” originated? I am old enough to remenmber WWII-era pennies that were not copper, butsomething sort of dull silver that weighed less than copper. Maybe those were the “bad” ones that didn’t weigh enough to work in the penny gum-ball machines? Today, pennies are neither bad nor good, but mostly just pointless, sorta like me. And now, after your absence (in rehab maybe, like all them other celebs?), your autograph should be worth even more than before! Homer

What Dave said…. Not that I am sharp enough to come up with a joke anyway 😕

😉 No new bows in hand. I do, however, have 2 bows (Shrew Classic Hunter and a Northern Mist Whisper) on order currently. BUT I will probably have to cancel the order for the Shrew. Timing is everything…sometimes.

Yea, Patrick! Glad you’re back!:D

Hi Patrick, I thought it had been quite:wink:
Homer, I think the saying about ‘bad pennies always turning up’ is to do with shop keepers who found that they had accepted a bad pennie by mistake rather than report it and suffer the lose they would pass them on in change to customers, the problem was self perpetuating and more and more bad pennies got into circulation so more would turn up. But the saying must date back to when a penny had some buying power.
Just wish I could absorb useful information in the same way I remember these things. -
Glad to see your back on the forum, been keeping up with you on FB, hope things are working out! Weather up here in has been sunny but nothing above maybe 32 degrees and cold as hell in the morning! Only can get better get that No Mist out and start shooting some woodies that will get you going!
