Fantastic!!!!!:):D:D:D:D

I like the sentiment. Very funny and very true.
But I can’t get past the picture of John Wayne. I think it would be a better poster with someone else. While John Wayne was a horse man, he was also a Gun Man, not a bow man.
I think we can do better. Criteria?
– Generally well known, not just to traditional bowhunters.
– Known for having common sense.
– More likely to use a bow than a gun.
I’m thinking Geronimo
I am not a fountain of knowledge when it comes to celebrity. I am sure someone here can make a better suggestion…

Ishi, Now there you go! I knew you fellers could come up with a better persona for such a sentiment!
Ishi is perfect.

There’s also Crazy Horse. The Lakota had bows at Little Big Horn, if I’m not mistaken and they sure had horses. D

Don’t think Ishi was a horse person. My vote is Genghis Kha Khan, Emperor of all men (gee I love that title) he was definitely a horsemen armed with a bow. Plenty of pictures (of course no cameras then so you can pick and choose) on the web. Hey this could turn into a great T-shirt. Go for it Wojo:D.

I can bring this one full circle.
In 1956, John Wayne starred in The Conqueror, as none other than Ghengis Kha Khan…

That’s amazing. Mike, was that a trivia test for Wose? 😯

Confucius say, lead a blind man to water and maybe he drink. Now Wojo has to find a picture of “Rooster” aka Genghis riding a horse with a bow. Guarantee that’s a poster/t-shirt I will buy.
Wose-good find–Wojo is way to young to remember that one.8)
As I and many have said—I love this site and you all rock.
Semper Fi my friends

Quanah Parker is a good candidate, the Comanche were well known for their archery prowess on horseback. They used front stuffers sparingly, but preferred the bow for launching arrows while riding at full speed.

Satanta, a Kiowa man, is also a good choice too, though there aren’t as many pictures of him.
