        The last 6 months of 2015 weren’t fun for me. Lot’s of health issues and still having to travel extensively with my job. I’ve had a series of horrible inner ear infections with vertigo and sickness attached. Unfortunately , I ‘ve also taken few tumbles and hurt some bones. There’s nothing worse than being miserable and not at home. The health stuff may on the mend but it really knocked me down, and I can honestly say I understand depression a little better. I just seemed to have lost interest in so much. After Christmas I started feeling somewhat better. Medicines and physical therapy finally started to work. I picked my bow back up and started flinging a few arrows here and there. Being out doing this with friends has been good. Probably a better therapy than doctors.

        Here’s to a better 2016. I’ve been rereading all the TradBow magazines and I’m excited for this year. The new one came in yesterday and I haven’t even unwrapped it. It’s for tonight.

        Take care everyone….it can only get better.

          Hey Critch,

          All the best to you. When you are sick, it just seems like you’ll never, ever, get better. Hard to keep the right spirit. Getting some fresh air with your friends sounds like good medicine to help what the docs are trying to do for you. All the best to you. Feel good. best, dwc

            Critch;

            I hope things turn for the better and that you recover from the illness.

                I’ve always found that exercise is really great at lifting your spirits. The only problem is that the more you need the exercise the harder it is to get started. Might be good to start out with a walk in the woods, killing stumps.

                Hoping it gets better critch.

                  Can’t add much to what’s been said, so I’ll just say it again…. Keep moving no matter how much it hurts. Movement is life. And shoot some arrows, no matter what.

                    I noticed that as I got older the gravity around me got worse. Back in November I missed a step at a hotel, and down I went. I was 200+ miles from home and no one with me…I had to use a belt to lift my foot up into my van so I could drive home. That pain stayed with me for weeks.

                    In late summer I fell trying to cross a ditch on my farm and not only did I fall, I hit a darn tree on the way down…thanks to everyone…I’m on the mend,,and a lot more careful.

                      Good to hear from you. I’ve noticed a few “drop offs” here from time to time (myself included) and such is normal, but always wishing you and the extended tribe peace and good health. Hope 2016 is a good year for you.

                        I just renewed my premium membership, I guess I’m here for awhile.

                        Yesterday, the wife and I were getting our garden plot ready and during breaks I would shoot a couple of arrows at some straw bales. She’s starting to get interested in archery. I may buy some lighter limbs for my Samick Sage to get her started.

                          “I’ve been gone too long…” Is that a line from some old song I should remember?

                          We moved over the weekend (same town, but overlooking the lake rather than on the common). My feet are not bending much, but keep walking around or they will bind up for good.
