My Dad used to go out after they plowed fields locally, and we’d walk about and he’s spot arrowheads regularly. I don’t know what ever became of all those!

Now, they use NO TILL so few fields get plowed and I never had the knack of spotting them like he did.

Very nice to find such things. What a grand link to the past. Makes you wonder how those people managed to eek out a living in those days… rough life. Died young. Worked hard. Lived life to the full!

              Congrats!

You realy have to train your eyes to see them, color, shine, edge-work and it is a consuming hobby, somedays you have some finds, others you come home with zip, but it still satisfys that urge to hunt… And Yes, ethics do play a part also, no digging for me, privite property with permission, reporting sites etc… I,ve found points with “impact fractures”, kinda cool to find them on the land I now hunt and know that I’m not the only one to hunt that land and make a miss… Wonder if they had the same thoughts as me at the time (Dang, how did I miss that easy shot!!!)
