        does anybody know of any good books for bow and arrow building. im trying to get as much information as possible before i start. I dont want to get over my head. thank you for your help

          The Traditional Bowhunter’s Handbook has instructions for building wood arrows (and bowstrings) but nothing about building bows. I have to tell you though, I’m kinda partial to the guy who wrote it. 😉

          Some of the other folks here might help with bow building books, but I’ve heard the Bowyer’s Bible series is good. Kustom King and 3Rivers Archery both have a large selection of books and videos on that topic as well. Hope that helps.

            look up http://www.binghamprojects.com and you find all the info you need about building a recurve or a long bow and have fun

                The Bowyer’s Bible series. If you can’t get all four, get one and four. And you ARE in over your head, but don’t worry about it. It’s fun! 😉
