        Hey folks,

        The Humboldt Archers is putting on a few 3D trail shoots this summer. Our first, the Camo Shoot, is the weekend of June 3-4. There is going to be information and flyers posted on our facebook page (Humboldt Archers) and there will be some info on the website as well (www.humboldtarchers.com). It’s not strictly traditional, but we do have recurve, longbow, and self bow shooters. The trail weaves through a redwood, Douglas fir, alder, and Sitka spruce forest. And it is located in Fieldbrook, California. The other 2 shoots are the Sea Hunt July 8-9, and the Crack Shoot, August 12-13.

        If folks are in the area, then it would be great to see some of you out there,

                  Yeah I was happy to hit any target over 50 yards! The elk at 91 yards was fun just to watch arrows in flight. The majority of the shots were between 20-40 yards.

                    Did the dinosaur leave a good blood trail?
