I opened my new Trad Bow Mag this morning, straight to The Gift, on page 13. Glancing thru the story, I saw a picture of a guy carrying a heavy load of Elk meat “using the quads God gave him”, and I went: Jeez, looks like me….. D*mn, It IS me!!!!!:D I had no idea David Petersen(Him again) had this story coming. What an honor to be nicknamed “Alex AKA Human ATV” by David and to be part of his story along with Dave Sigurslid and Thomas Downing!

I loved every minute of that Elk pack out. It was a 100% successful hunting trip for me even though I didn’t fill my tag! (I had one opportunity on a very nice bull, but he decided to walk behind the blowdown fir instead of in front of it. The nerve!!!) I love the field dressing, skinning, deboning, cutting, wrapping, freezing, marinating, cooking, serving, and eating part of hunting as much as the hunting itself!:D
