Working by candle and oil lamp light thanks to Sandy, I made a new wrap for my Big-Five. I used some buckskin I tanned a while back from a deer I shot. Used the back sinew to make the lacing. That was the hardest part. Hopefully it will bring some mojo!

Not bad for my first wrap!

          2-fer,

Beautiful! Working by candle light must have brought some real feeling of tradition. Hope the “spirit” of the work bring you luck. Is that sinew or string? Great job. Be well.

Very nice! Just need to get some oil from your hand on it to darken it up. Won’t take long…

              How about Blood?

That is not string, it is sinew. I teased out long strands from deer back sinew and reverse twisted them together to make the cord much like a two strand flemish string.

                  Beautiful Day and beautiful deer!

Blood will crack off the grip and attract bugs. Better stick with oil… 🙄
