        Hi all,
I have been trying to get some sense of the value of a hunting knife that my father bought way back when and never used. It is pre 1973 as indicated by Henkels customer service in Ontario and the home office in Germany has no records at all. It is a model 639-5, 5 inch blade. The only thing that has happened over time is some greening of the brass pins and I have cleaned those up.
Is it possible that this knife could have been made in the 1920’s or 30’s!!!
        Cheers,
        Jean-Louis

Hi, Toxophilly… from what I see on other sites $200 to $250 would not surprise me. Beautiful knife… and wonderful history. I hope you are NOT selling it.
