        Just saying hello; my name is Jason Baker. Go by J, jake, whatnot. Newbie to the forum, not to trad bow. Been shooting trad for 20 odd yrs, still not worth a flip though! But I try.

        Not a lot of experience with different bows, I have two Schafer silvertip recurves. Both same specs everything except one is 62@28 and the other is 55@28 both 64″. But these are the only trad bows I have ever really messed with. Other than a zebra longbow I got to use on a squirrel hunt once.

          IMO, shooting the same bow for twenty years is the formula for being a good shot. Switching bows / arrows / etc. all the time is the best way to stay inconsistent.

              Welcome aboard. Spent a few years in your neighborhood a long time ago. Got my first deer with a bow 1980 at Camp Lejeune.
