Hello All, I just recently joined and have been busy reading a lot of interesting posts. I’ve mentioned to a few people that since going strictly traditional, I have met a lot of fine people. Seems that those with the discipline to undertake the challenges of sticks and strings also posses a great deal of character to go along with it.
In another forum I saw a topic posted by Patrick asking about the origin of everyone’s screen name. I’ll play a little catch-up here. My screen name, Tom 6107; Tom because thats my first name. 6107 because I am a police officer in southeast Ohio and 6107 is my badge number.
I feel just by reading current and past posts that I am among a great group of people that I’ll call friends.
Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom — I’ll be at the UBI banquet in Springfield this March. Say hello if you’re there. When I do my rant on how ATVs are destroying traditional American hunting values and opportunities, I may need a bodyguard! 😉 dave

😆 You might want to find out what his stance on ATV’s is before employing him for said services!:lol:

Welcome!
As far as the ATV business, it is just like those folks that want to outlaw guns, it is not the gun that does the damage it is the person behind the gun! However I think ATV’s should be limited to the trails!

Just for the record, I’ve got nothing against them but they do have their place. That would be private property or approved riding areas. I also agree it is the operator not the instrument whether gun or vehicle of any kind.

Patrick, I don’t mind, I’m used to it. I’s prefer to call it discussion though.
That’s cool. I just don’t think it’s good idea to turn an “introduction thread” into a debate/discussion/argument. I’d be more than happy to debate that with you though. (JOKING!!!!):lol::lol::lol: -

I see your point. It’s all good. -
Sorry, fellers. I only intended a joke, not a hijack. Someday, maybe I’ll finally listen to my wife and bosses who continually suggest that “You are NOT funny!” Alas, my curse. Steady on, dp 😳
