Got an awesome donation for the kids

Yesterday on another forum board I had a PM that said, Donating Bows. I opened it up and to my surprize a guy is donating not 1 but 2 Fred Bear Kodiak recurves to me for working with kids. He said his dad passed away and these were in the garage. He says that he has no use for them, and does not want to see them go in the trash 😯

Well today I got the pictures of these two bows that come with arrows.

I just have to cover 1/2 of the Fed Ex shipping, which I whole heartedly agreed to.

What a blessing this is.

A picture is worth a 1,000 words! PROOF! That “traditional” bows either came with sight packages or had sights manufactured just for them. The secret is out! 😛

A lot of guys of yesteryear put a sight pin or match stick taped on their bow.

Steve, its getting better to from leather arm guards, finger tabs and arrows to several other Youth Longbows double handle so 30-35# – So some traditional stuff is coming. I’m hoping that most of it will be here after I return on Friday the 9th as I will be gone all week.
