i got a question. i got a samick sage recurve 55lbs @28 (i draw 28″) and they say the brace hight should be 7 1/4 – 8 1/4 however i feel that the bow is most accurate at 8 3/4 is this ok, am i losing power? i feel it is way way more accurate (2 to 3 ” groups at 20 yards and i have never been able to do that before) but am i hurting the bow or am i losing to much power or speed? Thanks

The brace heigth range the company gave you is just a suggested range. You are the only one to deside what works for you.

Yes, raising the brace beyond their suggested range will slow the bow alittle due to loss in powerstroke. Still, I;ll give up a tiny bit of powerstroke for a good shooting bow.
