Went out today, got a 4 pointer at 7:30 am. 15 yard shot went 70 yards. Just got it cut up and in the frezzer. Going back out next Tue.-Fri. to try for a doe.

I’ve taken 3 does and a buck this season so far, but all in the evening. I was hoping to fix that this morning, but it is raining cats and dogs. So here I sit in my warm cabin sipping coffee and looking at your buck.

Excellent job! WAY too much corn standing due to rain, rain, RAIN but finally saw a buck the other night.

This week will put em on the move so hoping for a bit better luck and more time to hunt!

Your buck has a very surprised look on his face, guess he didn’t see that one coming. Congrats. I went out today in the sleet and saw nothing but squirrels for five hours. I missed all three shots on them but not by much. I even had one come up the tree three feet from me to check me out. It looked like he was flashing gang signs at me. I finally got bored of the utter lack of deer, and started to use the “can” real agressively. Had a beautiful eight point walk in and gave me a broadside shot at 17ish yards. I missed that too. (but not by much!) Oh well I wasn’t on my game today but it was a blast (minus the sleet). Congrats again, he is big for a 4!
