Now I’m jealous, its hard to beat an evening on the coast after waterfowl.
Lying out under the moon after fighting geese is my next favorite.
Our season started on the 1st. but I wait until we get a frost.
What is the broadhead you are using?
Are those DIY decoys.
Mark.
Looked again I can see they are full bodied except for the one holding your gear.

Old flambuae floating shells…some are missing heads as they are not made anymore. The boxes are homemade. The broadhead is a razorhead.

I LOVE IT!!!
GREAT PHOTOS, GREAT HUNT!!
Thinking about how to disguise my kayak as a goose..or gooses.
Some 10 years ago I couldn’t sleep one fall night. So about 3:00 AM, I went out in the Kayak and chased the geese around the lake for a few hours. Neighbors were talking about the “noisy goose night” for weeks. lol

Looks really fun!!!! Love the bow rack set up!!!
We had a roast goose last night. Reminded me why I don’t kill many of them.
Anybody have sure fire way of cooking goose?

The most consistent way I know of is to do a goose bog….like chicken and rice. Cook it down for many hours with herbs in the crockpot or covered on the stove. Shred meat, cook rice in the broth and add back meat.
But yeah, some can be mighty strong and tough. I remember back in college I had some goose breast sliced in the freezer. My roomate swiped it to cook for this gal he was all hot and bothered over. He thought it was venison and was going to really impress her with his exotic culinary abilities. I came in from delivering pizza to find em just sitting there unable to chew the pan seared goose.
