New footage of a wild snow leopard…Apparently the cat had just chowed down on a bunch of sheep and couldn’t be bothered running away, hence the video. Even fat and happy, that’s a pretty awesome animal. How long is the tail!

I saw one in a zoo in Sydney. It was a bit like seeing a cattle dog in a suburban back yard. Not very nice.

Who you calling an amateur? 😆 Anyone who has read the recently late Peter Matthiessen’s classic “The Snow Leopard” (not for the intellectually or spiritually sedentary) understands the magical qualities of this rare and elusive illusive allusive creature in the wild, and thus how wrong it is to keep such in prison for public viewing by mostly clueless and undeserving people.

Didn’t look to steady on its feet going up the rocks.

Will it grow into that tail!
