Hello everyone! I have a question to pose today! I am very very well informed about regular 4 fletch flu flu’s, been using them for about 4 years now! I was just wondering if someone has ever used the wrap around method? And if so I am very curious about them, never even seen one! So can anyone tell me if they are any better and if so, how to make them!? Thanks alot, happy hunting!

Hello, fellow archers- first post from HalfaHun on your most excellent and informative forum. Thank you, Dr. Ashby, for your years of experimentation(not to forget your own financial and personal sacrifice). You shall go down in the annals of toxophilite history as a pioneer, so Godspeed, get well soon- your work is not yet done!
As to wrapped flu-flu- take one feather of the color of your choice- pin, tape or threadwrap at the point nearest the nock and wrap cw/ccw 4 or 5 inches, then repeat tie off- and glue the you-know-what as you wrap. A little slower than regular fletch, but only one full-length feather. For real fun add a rubber/plastic blunt and I still have a couple of golf ball sized white plastic balls that you slide on the shaft behind the point with 4 holes in the front hemisphere. When shot it screams like an unholy hound-of-hell- a certain attention getter in any crowd! Anybody know if they are still being manufactured? Good shooting and bring home the meat! -

ChrisI’ve seen the spiral wrapped flu flus but have not used them. I do have some 4 fletch flu flus. I must fletch up one to see how they work!
