        Dear Friends,

I wish to “two foot” or ” splice” my broken wooden shafts. Flat tapering by hand is for me not uniform on both sides, hence an out of allignment arrow.

Is there a jig I can buy for a disc sander that will ensure an even flat taper on both sides?

        Kind regards,

        Mark G

          Hi Mark,

I don’t know if this is what you are looking for, but you might look at Gary and Connie Renfro’s system for footing arrows. Their website is http://www.traditionalarcheryproducts.com. I hope that helps.
