well tomorrow morning i’m going out, its the first day of the Kansas bow season…. this is my first time really going after deer with a bow so i’m like a kid the night before his first hunt lol i went out to my place this after noon and it looks good, i have a few droping close to my brush blind i made and the trail looks like its getting used a bit. i have been practicing with my bow almost every day for the last year, broadheads are sharp and i couldnt be any more pumped… Good luck to everyone on their season’s…

well i got into my blind at about 6:30 and i wasnt sitting there 20 minutes and i hear a buck snort at me, CLOSE!!! like maybe 10 yards close. he snorts 3 or 4 more times and takes off, it’s so thick with ceders i couldnt see him but m heart was pounding!!!! i will be going back out this evening, maybe we will meet again???

October 15th is right around the corner. I have to get out into the woods, get some exercise and find some sign. I also am looking to arrow my first feral swine this season. Supposedly, the area is full of porkers.
