Title says it all . I have several fiber glass bows and was wondering can I paint them ? And how ? What kind of paint ? I was thinking of something like Ed Scott did ?

Not sure who Ed Scott is, but sure.

Clean the limbs up with rubbing alcohol, mask off anything you don’t want painted and get a good grade of rattle can paint.  You can use camo stencils of leaves, or spray on a base coat, let dry and then cross hatch a couple more colors for a different kind of camo or just paint it black or whatever color suits you.

I would avoid painting the grip area as it will wear off pretty quick.

I have not used paint myself  to camo/ cut shine of the bow, but if done well I would imagine it could be quite attractive , even art.

I normally use the camo stretch ( bandage type) tape . In the past I have used the camo limbcovers that also break up the outline of the bow.

i used some colored makers and put on a design and it actually came out pretty nice . going to work on a black bow now. Ed was the bowyer of owl bows and he put some nice designs on his bows . Im stealing some of his designs hope he wouldn’t mind .
