Im shootin a 60# recurve with a 175gr grizzly broadhead and im thinkn about getting some Beman ICS Hunter Elite 300 carbon arrows because of their stiff spine and low mass construction and so i can achieve Extreme Forward of Center. I wana here your opinions. Would it be a good set up? Or is it a waste of time and money?

Hey Kodiak how are you? Just a question or two about your set-up. What kind of Bow (make) and whether or not your string is FF? Is your Bow center shot, elevated rest or off the shelf?
Bet I can tell you that you already will have a good FOC with the heavy broad head your shooting.
400 spine carbons should be plenty without me considering the above variables.
340’s etc are very stiff for your set-up currently.
Are you going to add more weight up front in addition to the 175?
I recommend that you cut your shafts in small increments from a full length shaft while bare shafting for the correct spine. I would also only purchase one or two shafts of several different spines to arrive at the correct choice before you buy multiple shafts.
