Anyone ever use Easton Legacy Arrows. I received a dozen of these in 2117 full length with inserts from a friend who ordered the wrong size. I gave hime $20 for the dozen. I was thinking of trying them in my 54 pound recurve. I normally use cedar never shot aluminum arrows out of my recurve. Wanted to know if anyone uses them and should I go with 4 inch feathers or 5 inch feathers. I shoot 29 inches

I like Easton Legacy shafts just fine, but I sure wish they could figure out how to get rid of that aluminum clank sound they make in the quiver! Aluminum arrows are my fallback, when all my wood arrows refuse to stay straight. Our summer here has been hot and super-humid, so I have shot aluminum most of the time in the last four months. My shooting lane is backed by a cinder-block wall, so when a wood arrow misses the bag entirely, there’s usually nothng left but splinters. Aluminum shafts don’t miss the bag.

Update,
I fletched up those Legacy with both 5 inch and 4 inch, I shoot them both and I have to say I was impressed with the performance. The 5 inch did shoot a bit better, I might head to woods this year and give them a go, I did say might.
