Thank you Larry for posting this!
I am leaving Friday the 12th to embark upon this new journey. It is exciting and a little scary! It is about twenty hours away from my comfort zone(Michigan) I will keep you all posted on how it goes.Andy

Good luck Andy. It wouldn’t be a job that I would want. Having to make bows instead of shooting them, doesn’t sound like a dream job to me….sounds like a job 8^))))). Of course I’m old and liking this not working….well, almost not working.

Hey,
Good luck Andy and remember to wear your shop PPE!

Good fortune,Andy- Looks like a good, ethical company that makes a fine product(like the 3-piece longbow- any 2nds let me know!) Man, are you in for a change, from a Michigan woodrat to a High Plains drifter! Give it some time, your eyeballs will stretch out, the harsh sun will dry you like jerky, the boots will finally fit and you’ll get used to the 2# belt buckle. And if you need a Diamondback snake skin to back your bow- well, it’s probably coiled up and rattling right outside your front door!
I’ll leave you with the Garth ballad-‘And then her hands of leather turned to feathers in a touch’- George, add a little pickin’ here. Added note- Chuck Norris’ ranch has a sign with a Colt single action on it with the statement above that reads-‘We Don’t Call 911 Here’-Ha!

But I already have my dream job… Don

I agree with Mike. Don, you did a great job inspiring us to lead and improve our image with the non-hunting public. Don’s new book, How Sportsmen Saved the World, is available at http://www.donthomasbooks.com.
