Late season deer opens up tomorrow here in Az.

I scored on some of the old large Pearson Deadheads and spent some time in the sandpit flight testing them. Awesome head and they fly great with my set-up.

I never tried the Deadheads.  Pearson made some good equipment and I have two of his bows in my collection.

My favorite broadheads were the Muzzy Matadors.

The large DeadHead is like a flying meat cleaver.  Awesome head.

Pearson made bows from entry level to top of the line. I have a Mercury Marauder @ 60# that’s pretty sweet to shoot and another one that’s 55# that was given to me by George Wright and I believe it’s the actual bow in one of the old ads.

Seen one nice buck so far but too far for a stalk. Going back up Fri. to try an ambush.

My first bow was a Pearson glass bow with a rubber handle, 45 lbs. draw.  A Christmas present from my folks.  It was a kit with the bow, three target arrows and three with broadheads, an arm guard, a tab and an instruction booklet.  I had it for many years, don’t remember what I did with it.  Probably gave it away.  I spent many hours in the back yard with it, flinging arrows at a root wad where the house builders had pushed over a tree.  Good memories!
