I just got back from a week in the woods during which I had no communication with the outside world. In that time the world has surely changed. Included in these changes are the passing of Dean Torges and Leonard Cohen.

The world is a better place because of these fine fellows.

        Here’s some news about Dean:

Steve, thank you for this post. I only got to know Dean through his blog, which was always enjoyable and informative. I hope his words remain available for a long time. I wish I would have known him personally. He seems to have lived a life that was extraordinary.

One evening on a drive, I listened to this Fresh Air interview with Leonard Cohen. Great stuff. Amazing artist.

All the best to you all. peace, dwc
