In the future when I order arrows I would like to do just a little touch of customizing for me. Specifically, I would like to mark them with a Kokopelli. I’m not sure if I sure find a company that makes decals that small, or stickers or some other method. Is anyone else out there adding little things to your arrows?
My youngest son is looking for some kind of a pen that uses truly indelible ink to see if he can just draw the flute player on the arrows.

Outfit called ONESTRINGER makes custom “wraps”…with that artwork, they might make you some.

Another option might be to use a regular permanent marker then give it a quick coat of spray on polyurethane or something.

My youngest son, the artist of the family, has ordered some markers that act like paint when applied. He’s been practicing on some old arrows with a fine tip marker, I will get some pictures out, hopefully this week.
Those arrow wraps are a neat idea, maybe down the road I can order some and have my arrows made with them. I(f I’m reading it right, the fletching is glued to the wrap?

Yes…they “wrap” onto the shaft where you fletch, before you fletch.
Usually about 1″ thick and as long as you like up to 11″ (sheet of sticky back vinyl paper.
They do custom graphics on with colors, etc… (onestringer.com) and then you buy them… peel off the strip and roll your arrow across it on a “mouse pad” and walla…fletch like usual!

Ralph,
I was never good enough to get my single feather replacements to line up perfectly with the “other” ones when I tried to replace ONE.
those vinyl wraps could probably have a feather and quill removed as well as a woodie, but I don’t know that for sure. Same TLC perhaps?

Wraps will not hold up to replacing a feather. But they do make getting the feathers off easy. You just hold the back of the arrow under really hot water and everything peals off nice and clean.
I don’t fool with wraps anymore, mostly cause I think they are too expensive for what they are…
A can of white rustolium lacquer does the job way cheaper.

Two ideas that come to mind are a small stencil, perhaps cut from a clear plastic packaging blister bubble, or check the model aircraft and model railroad custom decal makers. I know there are folks out there making custom decals in all sorts of shapes and sizes, no idea about price though.
