I’ve been reading your Forums for awhile now and am amased at the amount of critters taken. It looks like Phill has been added to the list of ‘trophys’ also and he does look like he would make a nice quiver or at least an addition to one. How do I go about finding out how to skin and care for the skin prior to tanning? Anyone know of a good book or source for articles on the subject? I’m an older / newbie and don’t have any experience doing this but if I’m going to hunt I need to know.

          Book
          $19.95

          Hope this helps you out.

I can vouch for the Deerskins Into Buckskins book. Great read, very informative and easy to follow. The wife and I are hoping to make our own buckskins this year thanks to this book.
