The Spirit of the bow must have got together its Music counterpart, because for some wild reason, I’m able to go to Compton this year, even for just saturday evening and Sunday morning! The last time I was not working on the Compton weekend was 2005!! I have a show in Detroit on Sunday but was asked to come saturday afternoon for rehearsal. Rehearsal having been just cancelled, I find myself free from Saturday 2PM until soundcheck at noon Sunday. So I rented a car and will be driving 2 and 1/2 h to Compton, spend time there Saturday evening, check out some vendors Sunday morning, and hit the road back to Detroit in time for soundcheck! Anyone here is coming?

I get released from Ft. Sill in Oklahoma Friday afternoon and likely wont get there until the same time you do Saturday. There may be a pair of road weary archers showing up
-
We are going to be there! And we’re excited to see all of our friends. 😀
Alex, I think that 2005 rendezvous was the first time I met you. T.J. and I are both looking forward to seeing you again. Everyone else who will be there, be sure and stop by our booth and say hello.

The Compton rendezvous was absolutely amazing. This was my first time. It was defiantly worth the 14 hour drive. The Compton crew go above and beyond to make this a special event.
I enjoyed getting to meet T.J and Ms. Robin.
I also bought traditional Bowhunter hat and a t-shirt for my better half.

I’m sorry I don’t have any pictures or anything to report about Compton, because I didn’t make it. I missed my morning flight to Detroit due to my girlfriend getting really sick the night before. Being 9 months pregnant, we had to go to the hospital to get fluids in her system. By the time I got to Detroit in the evening , it was too late to drive 2 and 1/2 hours to Compton! Se you another time, Robin!!:D

We missed you, but totally understand the situation. I hope she’s feeling better, and congrats on the baby! 😀
I had a lot of fun this weekend, and it was great to meet Matt and see lots of other friends.

Alex Hope she is doing better.
It was another great weekend at the Rendezvous. The board did a great job.
