Hey guys, one more question for you guys could I drill in my riser of my fred bear grizzly to add a fred bear compass. He had them on the kodiaks, but I do not have a lot of money to buy a higher end bow at the moment. Thanks Justin

Justin — Someone else will be better equipped to say “yes you can, or no you can’t.” What I say is simply — don’t. It will decrease the value of your bow and potentially even destroy it, and those little compasses, cute and handy as they are, tend to be unreliable and short-lived. Just buy yourself a good compass and leave the bow alone. IMHO

X2 on not drilling into a Grizzly, although not a very expensive “collector” bow, still if you ever wish to resell, it will take away from the value…

I wish I could find one of those “fingers” he used with the compass in it, maybe you could find a leathersmith to make you one of those…

Hey sorry for delayed reply, definatly not going to drill into the bow as I have been reading that I might be a righty (right eye dominate). Thanks for the input though guys.

                Ditto on no drill…

Hey Amoose, what “little fingers with the compass” are you referring to??
