A couple of guys in our club (Apache Bowhunters, Globe Az.) have been using Co-Flex on their bow grips. Self adhesive bandage wrap sold at Wally World in the pet section for horses. Gives a non-slip grip and adds a wee bit of cushion at the shot.  I recently went back to high wrist folded hand and used the wrap to build up the grip area.  Don’t know how long it’s going to hold up but for right now it’s working well.  Since I had split the roll with an Exacto knife I had some left over and used it to wrap my binoculars, mainly …………… just because.

Tournament in Show Low Az. this Sat. up in the pine trees & cooler temps.

I think his is the same stuff I use to camo my bow limbs ( cut glare on fancy finished bows). Works very Well for that also and doesn’t leave much residue ( easy to clean) after the season. For the handle area, I am good enuff with leather to make or rebuild the grip.

Grip on the Super Diablo is holding up well. Very pleased with it.

While I’m waiting on delivery of the latest orphan I adopted off of eBay (Black Swan 62″ / 62# @28″) I got out my coyote calling bow (Bear Magnum 48) and mounted an eight arrow retro Bear spring arm quiver.  Totally cool quiver but a wee bit ‘twangy’ for a hunting bow.  Added some quiver foam on top of the factory stuff and wrapped any of the wire frame that  I could with thin strips of Co-Flex. Much better; less twangy and more thuddy.   Thud I can handle.  I’m liking that Magnum 48 more all of the time.  Not quite as fast as some of my other bows but out to 30 yards (good coyote calling distance) it’s a heck of a shooter and fun to shoot.

Even more uses …………………… Lacking a spare tip protector for the lower limb, I cut a strip about an inch wide & wrapped it onto the tip. Works great !!!!
