chek mate bows

Has anyone shot and used a chek mate bow for hunting? I’ve only been hunting three years and use a Canadian made X-bow(steady!) right now. I’ve always wanted to use a stick bow and would like to buy Canadian since that’s where i was born and raised. Help.:?

I shoot a chekmate hunterII and love it. Shoots great and looks that way too. Marc builds a great bow and you won’t be disappointed. And the price is very reasonable for a custom bow. Good luck!

I’ve owned four Chek-Mates over the years (one H1 and three H3s). Great bows that perform well above their price tag.

The first bow i bought was a Chek Mate HunterII 62″ 51# @ 28.
Still my favorite. Use it at all our 3D shoots. You won’t be disappointed .
