What’s old is new again. A few months ago we decided to combine all forums into just two in order, the thinking went, to make it easier to scan for new threads and posts every time we log on. Also, by compressing scattered forums into just two, there would be more new activity each time we check in, making for a livelier website. But given the intense interest in Ashby Study-related topics by many, and intense disinterest by others, it has become clear that we need a separate forum specifically for fans of Ashby topics … so we’ve restarted it under the new name “Friends of FOC.” As the name implies, this new-old forum is for those of us who have studied the Ashby research, tried it, and like it. This is not a forum for debating the value of the Ashby Arrow Lethality Study, but rather for positive discussion among its adherents. Robin has already moved some original Ashby Forum posts to the new forum, and we’ll continue the moving until it’s done.
So, henceforth when you have a question or comment related to any Ashby topic, please us the Friends of FOC forum … and please read the playing rules in my “sticky” thread at the top. If you have no interest in this approach to archery and bowhunting, or aren’t convinced it’s “worth the trouble,” please just give us a skip and continue to enjoy and contribute to the Campfire and Bows/Equip. forums. Life is a learning process; thanks for your patience. Dave Petersen
