Hello all. Just wanted to share my new way to target practice. Someone had posted a video of a guy shooting at sticks and stuff so I thought I would take a break from the norm and give it a try. I also started to shoot at trash.

This is a shot group at just under 30 yards. I included two pics of the distance to give a general idea. I shot this from the kneeling next to my truck.

That’s a clean and mean looking bow, Shawn. Anyone who is bored with practice needs to use some imagination. Rifle practice gets boring. Compound machine practice is boring. Trad practice is an art form with endless possibilities. 😀

I love that bow! All Bamboo. You are correct Mr. Petersen! Archery never really gets old for me, but I love the endless possiblilties to have fun with it. Just today I put on some bunny busters and went for a rabbit hunt. I was unsuccessful, but it was the experience that mattered!

Nice shooting and innovative use of targets, just a pity people’s rubbish is there in the first place 🙁 Littering is one of those things that really gets my goat 😡

Could we please see a few more pictures of that bow? Not to be demanding, but maybe one unstrung and one braced, the view looking down the belly of the bow from one end so as to see how the string aligns with the center of the bow? If it’s a pain in the neck don’t bother with it. I’ve begun making bows and I’m impressed with the elegance I see in yours!
